Alba Ergonomics is an Australian business offering expert ergonomics, work health and safety, and human factors consultancy services.
Alba Ergonomics was established in 2006 by Certified Professional Ergonomist, Claire Folland to provide expert opinion and advice on ergonomics in the workplace, with a particular focus on the assessment of human anatomical, anthropometric, physiological and biomechanical characteristics as they relate to the physical activity of work tasks.
Alba Ergonomics guarantee that all their consultants have Post Graduate training and over ten years hands-on practical experience. This includes Certified Professional Ergonomists (CPE’s) and Work and Health and Safety (WHS) Specialists that are certified through the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australian (HFESA).

Claire Folland BSc Occupational Therapy, MSc Tech Ergonomics, CPE
Claire is a Certified Professional Ergonomist and Work Health and Safety Specialist with over 10 years’ experience. She has experience in a broad range of industries including office design, manufacturing, wholesale and retail, as well as healthcare and heavy industry.
She has a comprehensive understanding of a range of organisational and project environments and management systems in complex workplace ergonomics needs.
Her expert opinion and advice on ergonomics in the workplace has a particular focus on the assessment of human anatomical, anthropometric, physiological and biomechanical characteristics as they relate to the physical activity of work tasks.
A past NSW Chair and Board representative of the HFESA and currently a committee member of the HFESA Professional Affairs Board, Claire is a true expert in her field.
Kirsty Angerer BSc (Hons) Ergonomics and Human Factors, CPE
Kirsty is a Certified Professional Ergonomist, Frequent Flyer, Workplace Wellness Advocate, Fitwel Ambassador and Self-Confessed Ergonomics Nerd.
She has worked in the areas of ergonomic program development and training for managers and employees for quite some time now, with a global client base. She has over 7 years’ experience with a particular interest in Office Design and Industrial Ergonomics.
She is a member of the CIEHF in the UK and HFESA in Australia. She is a committee member of the NSW branch of the HFESA and committee member of the Early Career Group. Kirsty is a sought-after panelist and speaker in the area of ergonomics.
She travels the world regularly and strives to make it a more comfortable place, one person at a time.
